You Divers by Will Stratton. The first single from Stratton’s upcoming album Post-Empire is a gorgeous, richly layered track that builds its narrative and tension over the course of seven minutes. The song opens with a quiet yet ominous drone punctuated by hymnal strings then gives way to Stratton’s acoustic guitar and hushed Damien Rice-like vocals and resolves with a flurry of aggressive electric guitars and impressive fret work.
